Regal Magic and Oscillator both have claims first time out but this is likely to go to one of those with experience and preference is for Golden Shadow, who gets the nod over Idarah. The selection has shown promise in all three starts so far, represents a stable in form and should find the conditions ideal. A market move for Smart Enough would be of interest following a decent debut effort at Newmarket, while Mark Johnston's Trinity Rose is well bred but likely to need more time. Regal Magic, a stablemate of the selection, appeals on pedigree and could be of interest under Kieren Fallon, while Oscillator is another well-bred newcomer that could well be good enough first time out but lack of a previous outing is an obvious concern at this stage of the season. Soho Square and Chookie Windsor are others worthy of a mention, along with the William Haggas-trained Idarah who looks to be going the right way. Golden Shadow has solid claims on form though and gets the vote.
