Plan Of Escape had shown absolutely nothing over hurdles or fences before a 50/1 victory in a jumpers' bumper at Newcastle. He'd had wind surgery after his previous run so it's possible he could transfer that improvement back over fences. Izzy's Champion gained his only victory over this track and trip last January and he's run well here subsequently. Last year's winner EAGLE RIDGE completed a double over 3m here at the turn of the year and though not running quite up to that form on the track last month is taken to get back to winning ways. Brian Hughes is on board again and could have ridden Shallow Run, a very easy course and distance winner in January who struggled in more testing conditions at Catterick though holds Begoodtoyourself on the former run. Nine-times point-to-point winner Path To Freedom is 0-8 over regulation fences though got much closer at Market Rasen last time
