In depth

Verdict

A David O'Meara runner has won two of the last three renewals and REGAL DAN looks to add his name to the list having gone close at Catterick on his comeback. Dropping down a grade for this, he looks sure to go close. By contrast, Hernando Torres will find this much tougher after landing a couple of Class 6 handicaps while all four of Ellaal's victories last season came over a mile or further. Funding Deficit is usually thereabouts but returns to action off a 5lb higher mark.
