      Verdict

      Wolverhampton winner Argaki failed to cope with a 6lb rise when beaten at Ayr on Monday and drops back in trip. Stradater has been well beaten since scoring at Southwell in January and it was soft ground here last month when Nelson's Bay won his first race since 2011. ATLANTIC AFFAIR continues to slide down the weights and, given this looks no tougher than her recent tasks on the all-weather, Mark Johnston's filly gets the tentative vote to get her head back in front.
