Verdict

Duke Of Monmouth hasn't had much racing over the last 18 months but wasn't disgraced when third over a longer trip at Huntingdon at the end of March and is well treated on his old form. Billy Congo left previous form behind when winning at Taunton nine days ago but has collected a penalty for his troubles while Horace Hazel disappointed when favourite at Exeter in March, though this is probably his trip. PENNIES AND POUNDS dotted up over 2m4f here a couple of weeks ago. She should stay this longer trip and is on an upward curve so gets the vote to complete the double off a 9lb higher mark.
