Rutland Boy won three minor handicaps here earlier in the year and though unable to cope with Barbecue Eddie on his comeback he'll find this less taxing. His trainer has a very strong hand with both Mufarrh and TAMAATHUL engaged. The former may just need this after a very long absence but the latter returned to action with a cracking effort behind Barbecue Eddie and Paul Hanagan can steer him into the winner's enclosure. He was also behind that winner in a lucrative handicap in March when Finjaan ran the race of his life to finish second. However, the selection wasn't too far behind and is 9lb better off so should turn the tables. The 2009 Goodwood Totesport Mile winner Laa Rayb hasn't made his mark here and may do better in a handicap providing the assessor drops him a few pounds and Reynaldothewizard is also respected having beaten Barbecue Eddie over 6f a year ago.
