In depth

Verdict

Having been given the all-clear to resume operations, Victor Dartnall will be hopeful of a prominent showing from winning pointer Silver Commander in this. Benvolio was third in a slightly better race at Newton Abbot in the summer and could figure if handling the softer ground while Best Boy Barney needed the experience at Chepstow earlier in the month and hails from a yard in decent form. BENEFIT OF YOUTH has had a few chances but continues to run well and this may be a bit easier than recent tests. Tim Vaughan's charge can finally get off the mark here though Ballytober will improve for his run at Ascot.
