In depth

Verdict

Now that SURFER has finally lost his maiden tag he should kick on from here. Runner-up in a Listed event in March, he made all for a comfortable victory over 7f last month and should soon be running in better company. The lightly-raced Qannaas hasn't really taken to racing at Jebel Ali so it remains to be seen how he fares here but Sand Stamp looks a threat. He won over 6f here in January and was noted going on at the finish on his reappearance behind Ganas a couple of weeks ago. Noor Zabeel ended the last campaign in poor form but had run very well in much better company earlier and would be a threat to all if fit enough after a break while Paul Hanagan's mount Entifaadha has the scope to do better.
