In depth

Verdict

Al Shemali is a class-act but may just need this on his first start since March and his trainer looks to have a better chance with ROCHDALE. The winner of eleven races on all types of surfaces, he produced anther excellent run behind Zain Shamardal a fortnight ago and is taken to gain victory number twelve. Tanfeeth, who was only just behind that day, has a chance of reversing the form over the extra furlong while Topclas wasn't far behind Al Shemali in a Group 3 in March and is 5lb better off. Maqaraat landed a maiden for the Hills family at Haydock last year and was making his debut here when never involved behind Famous Warrior last month. He should be winning soon when better handicapped as should Tmaam, a winner in the UK for Mark Johnston.
