MEQDAM is lightly raced but ended the last campaign in winning form at Jebel Ali before a fair reappearance there. He's capable of better and can see off the challenge of Lady Snazz, an easy winner of a minor event two weeks ago but up 8lb. Gundogdu managed to win twice last winter and can never be dismissed in this class. He had Blue Sovereign behind when scoring here in February though the latter improved when sent to Al Ain later. Immortalised often pops up when least expected so the son of Frankel isn't out of this.
