Doug Watson, who shared a hat-trick with Sam Hitchcott at Jebel Ali on Friday, has three of the five entries. Hitchcott is on board Bararri Spirit, a half-sister five winners including a smart two-year-old. Richie Mullen rides Heshmah, who is very much Dirt-bred being a sister to two winners on the surface and out of a winner over this trip. Pat Dobbs is on board Super Chianti, whose dam won over this trip on Dirt. But Nicholas Bachalard and Ryan Curatolo have hit the ground running, the jockey having already ridden three winners in his UAE debut season. NAYEFAH is easily the most expensive of these being by Kentucky Derby winner Super Saver out of an unraced mare from a top-class family. She's handed the vote as the former Mark Johnston-trained Jumeirah Beach was well beaten at Ripon in July.
