The former William Haggas-trained Fanaar has a recent run under his belt but was beaten two lengths off levels by stable companion Thegreatcollection over over 7f at Jebel Ali in March. The latter was scoring for the sixth time on Dirt that day and holds both George Villiers and Galvanize on earlier running here. ALKAAMEL completed an all-weather hat-trick at around this trip for William Haggas but raced in sprints in his first starts here without showing much. However, it was a different matter when stepped up to a mile in March where he came home over 13 lengths clear. He's on an 11lb higher mark here but looks capable of a winning return. His stablemate Casey Jones completed a Newcastle hat-trick for John Gosden and showed plenty of potential in two runs here in February.
