        Verdict

        Final Song was beaten 3 lengths by Man Of Promise in a handicap last month but has much the better draw here and is 13lb better off. The three-year-old Acklam Express completed a hat-trick over the minimum trip last summer and though he's never raced over 6f he certainly wasn't stopping on last month's debut here. Ekhtiyaar, runner-up in the race last year, didn't run well in that latter event but is better than that and can make a bold bid to go one better. ROYAL CRUSADE (NAP) beat subsequent Champion Sprint winner Glen Sheil at Deauville in July and a mark of 109 is underestimating his ability. He'll be aimed at bigger prizes than this and looks the one to beat.
