Verdict

Feldspar has finished third in both hurdle starts so far. He finished almost three lengths ahead of stablemate LE MAGNIFIQUE last time and is 6lb better off. The latter, however, made several mistakes that day and it might be significant that Craig Nichol switches allegiance with this stiffer track expected to suit the Sedgefield winner. Magna Morali and Caldwell don’t appear to be improving while Bad Rabbit was a 12-race maiden on the Flat and Benito is having a first public outing.
