In depth

Verdict

Weather Front wins his fair share and travelled strongly for a long way in a jumpers’ bumper last time. Mayo Star is 2-4 over hurdles and didn’t really take to fences at Ayr in November. Sebastopol has a touch of class and had a wind operation since last seen but we’ll take a chance on MEGA YEATS, who travelled down to Kempton for a bumper last month and ran well after a long absence. She’s been very lightly raced and could be well treated. Torn And Frayed is penalised for winning at Hereford last Sunday and Sail Away makes his UK debut but the novice Flash Collonges is entitled to respect having already won twice while War Lord would have a chance on the pick of this season’s form.
