Obara d'Avril, Faith and Reason and Thehonourablelady catch the eye here, with OBARA D'AVRIL given the nod to go one better after finishing second last time. The honourablelady has been running consistently of late, but is struggling to show the sparkle she had when last scoring almost two years ago and can be taken on. Faith and Reason should be watched in the market, and he has won two of his last three starts over hurdles. However, he has been disappointing on the Flat of late and looks worth taking on. Obara d'Avril has been running in decent company on the Flat at Pontefract and York recently, and returns to the scene of his sole success over jumps where he won over this course and distance. He ran a solid race in defeat at Cartmel on his last hurdling outing, not going down without a fight, and looks the safest selection here.
