The eight runners have garnered just three wins between them and five of them wear headgear, two for the first time, so it's difficult to be confident about the chances of FASLIYANNE but she is consistent as are Lost In Paris and Hawkeyethenoo. The nominal vote goes the way of Kevin Ryan's filly who has finished in the money on nigh on half of her career starts and she only went down narrowly at Newcastle last time. She has a 1lb higher mark to overcome but has run well here in the past and goes well for the jockey. Lost In Paris has yet to win a race but is running well at present and could provide some early competition for the lead which may not be ideal for either runner. He drops back to the minimum for the first time and there's a chance that it could be the making of him. Hawkeyethenoo also tries the minimum for the first time and races from the same mark as when third at Hamilton on soft ground. That was his first run in a visor as he had failed to hold his form in blinkers and he's not without claims on that evidence although he could be taken off his feet on this faster ground. It's difficult to enthuse about the remainder and Fasliyanne gets the nod.
