There are several in this field with lofty ratings and none more so than Court Masterpiece but our preference is for ROYAL POWER ahead of Sunnyside Tom. Court Masterpiece did run well in a decent claimer at York, proving that he got this trip in the process, and he has leading claims on that evidence but this is no penalty kick. Sunnyside Tom comes here in good form and should give another good account whilst Flawed Genius has the ability to take a hand if he deigns to race. Wovoka was winning for the fourth time this year and for the first time in this grade when scoring at Newcastle so it would be folly to dismiss him but we'll take a chance with the Nicholls runner. The trainer has an excellent strike rate at this level and boasts a healthy level stakes profit whilst Royal Power is no back number having finished close up in a competitive handicap at Ayr so we'll take him to record a fourth career success.
