Ronald Jack, Raining Horse and Lord Collingwood are the most likely winners of this race and Ronald Jack receives the vote. A trip to Market Rasen for a Pipe runner on Boxing Day is something of a rarity and a note is taken. Although he very much has two ways of running, if he were to turn up with his 'A' game, Ronald Jack has shown enough in the past to suggest that he is up to winning this race. Raining Horse ran a solid race at Kelso with Lord Collingwood in behind. James Ewart's horses have been running creditably enough and this former 103-rated hurdler has to have every chance. Lord Collingwood has been beaten since so the market is watched for any confidence today. Front-running Inherent is in receipt of plenty of allowances and while she can be forgiven her most recent run as she was having to concede a double penalty over hurdles, one could not help but be disappointed by the outcome. Kitty Wong ran no sort of race at Uttoxeter on her most recent start and is best watched at present. A competitive affair and Ronald Jack gets the vote.
