Verdict
Green Finger is taken to get the better of Gone Too Far and Tacolino in an intriguing finale. Gone Too Far has been on the go for some time and had a break of sorts before coming back from a two month rest to run a blinder at Perth this month, touched off on the line in a handicap hurdle. It is ten months since his latest chasing win and he may be in the handicapper¿s grip. John Quinn has his string going well under both codes and his Green Finger has been running well of late, slamming his field in a handicap chase at hexham, before finishing a good second in a hurdle contest last time on a return visit to the track. He has only been raised seven pounds for that win and with McCoy on board can resume winning ways. Green Finger is the one to point out here.
