In depth

Verdict

Ken¿s Dream is taken to get the better of Wiggy Smith and Orpen Wide in a classy novice contest. A winner on the Flat at Epsom twonyears ago, Wiggy Smith has taken his last two hurdling contests in his stride and looks progressive. He has the assistance of Tony McCoy and is highly respected. A scorer on the Flat at Beverley last month, Orpen Wide¿s hat-trick attempt over hurdles came unstuck over the course and distance last time. Although that was a handicap, he may still struggle to resume winning ways in this company. One time useful Flat handicapper Ken¿s Dream scored well at Uttoxeter on his latest start, supplementing an earlier Plumpton cakewalk. Although the form of his latest win has been let down by the runner up, Ken¿s Dream may have too much Flat speed for his rivals and can score again.
