Verdict

Society Affair gets the vote here with County Classic and Scolt Head the others worthy of serious consideration. The Jonjo O'Neil gelding made a pleasing debut behind Before The Mast at Huntingdon and could be difficult to beat if he improves for that run. County Classic could represent the main danger based on his second behind Armagueden at Newcastle. However that run was in November last year so he has a long absence to overcome. Scolt Head is the other one to consider and he made a good impression despite pulling too hard last time at Hexham. But he stayed on well to get within 4l of Moonlit Harbour and that run makes him a live danger. The others don't look good enough, so we will side with Society Affair.
