Ballyhome, three times a winner here, was pulled up over fences at Uttoxeter last time and is looking a few pounds too high now. Fleur Irlandaise was set some stiff tasks last season after producing a 100/1 shock at Kempton. She’d had a couple of outings on the Flat so should be ready for this and Flashing Glance was on his best behaviour at Uttoxeter last time, though is now on a career-high mark. Fransham tries a new trip but Palladium should stay, though probably needs softer ground and has to give 7lb to fellow four-year-old MIDNIGHTS' GIFT, who was keeping on behind the in-form Teqany at Bangor so might appreciate the extra half-mile.
