Verdict

One or two characters among this bunch and MUTUAL RESPECT is our idea of the most likely winner with Indian Pipe Dream and Ballyvesey also entering calculations. The eight-year-old was a solid winner at Southwell and while there is no guarantee that he will be able to reproduce that level of form today, it is clear that he does possess a degree of ability. Indian Pipe Dream is tried in cheekpieces and tongue strap. He can pull quite hard so needs to be settled at the earliest opportunity. Ballyvesey makes too many errors when it most matters whilst the remainder have proved disappointing. Not a race to be dogmatic about and Mutual Respect is put up despite some reservations at the likely odds.
