Verdict

An uncompetitive event in which Charlie Egerton should complete a quick double with the useful Teatral. A high-class timber-topper, he created a favourable impression when getting off the mark over fences last month and although beaten since, time may tell he was facing a stiff task giving weight to a more than useful rival. He faces nothing of that calibre here and should outclass his rivals. He may be followed home at a respectable distance by Zsarabak, who was some 35lbs behind the selection over hurdles. There isn't much between him and Rock 'N'Cold on their hurdles form, but the former has the advantage of a couple of runs over fences and that may just swing it his way.
