In depth

Verdict

A poor contest which will take little winning. The only winner in the field Ramblees Holly is well exposed and it will be a shock if he is good enough to defy his penalty. Earl Token has shown a little ability between the flags, but his stable have saddled only one winner under rules since 1999. Scottish Song, who was made favourite for a seller at Huntingdon last time, looked totally out of love with the game. So this may go to Vodka Inferno by default. Charlie Egerton's gelding is at least open to some improvement having had just the two outings over timber and although he was runner-up on his latest effort, he didn't achieve much. However, he did show some promise in bumpers and may be good enough in a poor heat.
