Verdict

It will be a surprise if Kingofthecotswolds doesn’t turn into a decent chaser but this looks a tough start. Court Royale found only a more-experienced odds-on favourite too good on his fencing bow at Newton Abbot. Storm Control jumped like an old hand when making all at Huntingdon in May but has to concede 16lb to CESAR DU GOUET, who is quickly back over fences after a spin over hurdles last month and will enjoy the sharp track and good ground.
