Love The Leader was engaged yesterday at Fontwell and would be penalised here if successful. In his likely absence, this looks wide-open though it’s impossible to have much faith in Alexander The Grey who is now 0-28. Agent Westy failed to complete at Plumpton on Monday but Midnight Magic won on fast ground at Wincanton, though has more to do now 6lb higher. The going will suit Gold Mountain but we’ll take a chance on BALLYGOWN BAY, who is potentially well treated over fences having run just once so far over the larger obstacles.
