      Verdict

Marvellous Dream looks the one to be on in the opener, with Just Stunning, Little Venus, Bathwick Lucy and Little Girl all likely to run well. Marvellous Dream caught the eye in defeat over two miles and five furlongs here in January, being outpaced on the home turn before staying on well. Not surprisingly, Nicky Henderson's mare struggled when dropped back in trip at Chepstow next time, and she really will relish this first attempt at three miles. On breeding she is almost certain to go chasing at some point, being related to Nas Na Riogh among others, but in the meantime, with conditions ideal, she is taken to open her account over timber. Just Stunning hails from a family of stayers and so it is no surprise to see her stepped up to this distance either. She is going the right way, and can be involved in the finish along with Little Venus, although Henry Daly's mare might just find the drying conditions against her. Bathwick Lucy was fairly progressive between the flags, but needs more time, while another ex-pointer, Little Girl, has an absence to overcome, and is best watched. Marvellous Dream has more going for her than most, and is the pick.
