Verdict

Baligrundle would be a live danger if putting in a clear round but as that looks unlikely at the moment, we will instead side with Great Jane ahead of Eriskay. The selection was a decent third behind Quibble last time out and should appreciate the drop in trip today as she travelled well for a long way that day but possibly didn't quite see out the trip. She handles the ground and looks the solid call in a tricky race. Eriskay is another who may appreciate the drop in trip but it remains to be seen whether he is as effective on testing ground. Baligrundle had Glenfarclas Boy behind him when successful at Newcastle in January but has failed to complete twice since and so must be taken on, as must Kung Hei Fat Choi who has looked out of love with life of late. Gee Aker Malayo completes the field but is moderate to say the least, and so we will return to Great Jane as our idea of the winner.
