In depth

Verdict

Idarah was pretty useful on the flat and can make a winning start over timber today, at the main expense of Barney's Dream. Len Lungo has a good record at the track and looks to have found a weak contest for his four-year-old. A winner on soft ground on the flat, today's conditions should be no problem and he looks the likeliest winner today. Irish challenger Barney's Dream was a good fourth last time out at Limerick and with conditions to suit he should go well, whilst Lockstockandbarrel will be seen to better effect on faster ground. Dauntsey Bay should step up on his debut but he will need to, and so we will revert to hurdling newcomer Idarah to get off to a winning start.
