Verdict

Valadom and Virginia Chick are better known as chasers nowadays but the former made all over the larger obstacles at Newcastle last time and should give Amber Jackson a thrilling ride. There is probably more to come from Docte Dina and Lisa De Vassy should be ready for this. Get The Appeal may be coming to hand while Broken Quest has had wind surgery ahead of his return from a very long absence. It may be significant that GRANNY’S SECRET won on soft going at Huntingdon in the spring. Lightly raced, she was never really travelling on her reappearance on quicker ground here in October but has been given plenty of time to get over that setback.
