In depth

Verdict

Nearly half of these didn't complete their last outing, so you may be taking some of these on trust, but with that in mind we think that SALSERO can get the better of Mey Clouds and Simple Glory. Lucy Wadham's runner is among those that fell last time out, when in contention to break his maiden. He's yet to be placed at this level, but the introduction of the tongue tie a few runs back brought about the desired improvement. With a safe round, he could be the one to catch. Joint top weight Mey Clouds also blundered last time out, but has shown some nice ability previously after moving to Evan Williams' yard back in the summer. Simple Glory had a couple of decent placings in November, but was then brought down last time out. She's well in at the weights, and again with a clear passage, she could be involved. It's not a contest we'll get heavily involved in, but with a trouble free run, we think it can go the way of Salsero.
