Verdict
This novices handicap chase looks a match between Shining Lights and Princesse Grec and the vote goes to the last named. The selection has been in good form all season and won well last time out when defeating Native Daisy granted she is rising in the weights but she again has conditions to suit and will be hard to beat. Shining Lights rates the main danger she was a good second behind Dunster Castle last time and a reproduction of that would see her go close. However she did not look the most straight forward on that occasion and at likely prices she is worth taking on. Blackberry Way showed improved form when fourth behind Guignol Du Cochet last time and that effort gives him place claims here but he will need to improve again to defeat the selection. Of the remainder She's Our Native has become disappointing over hurdles and the switch to the larger obstacles will need to have rekindled her enthusiasm if she is to score and for the winner we return to Princess Grec.
