If there are any punters left after this marathon Listowel Harvest Festival, they will be looking at what is something of a novelty event with the high-class chaser Benefficient taking on likely speedier opposition. Tony Martin's charge could hardly have made a better impression last season, landing the Grade 1 Arkle at Leopardstown before following up in the Jewson at Cheltenham. He hasn't been seen since pulling up at Punchestown in April and may just get outpaced by MARCHESE MARCONI. Aidan O'Brien's colt is no stable star but his narrow victory over Pique Sous under Sarah O'Brien in a similar event at Wexford just about gives him the edge. Caim Hill is useful on his day and produced his best effort for a long time here on Thursday but the promising hurdler Joxer hasn't been seen since January and might just need the run.
