Verdict

Galloping Gander came here on Monday with what looked a favourite's chance but didn't run as well as expected. The Shepherd King is also a beaten favourite at this fixture having been outpaced behind The Real Article on Sunday while Ted Dolly looks to have plenty of weight for a novice who was beaten at Galway last week. Beneficial Spirit alternates between hurdles and fences and is better handicapped over the former though he has some strong form and has to go on the short-list. INSTANT IMPACKED finished runner-up in this a year ago and was in superb form at the time. He had a long break before a poor run at Punchestown in May and hasn't been seen since but if anywhere near last year's form can take this at a fair price.
