Verdict

Braidley dotted up at Doncaster last week and beat El Beau with something to spare at Catterick last month. The latter subsequently ran Eddiemaurice to a neck at Beverley and the top weight comes out best of that trio here but Richard Fahey seems determined to take home the lion's share of the prize money in this. He saddles three with Paul Hanagan's presence aboard SHOT IN THE SUN suggesting she's the pick. She ran out of racing room behind Fire Fighting at Thirsk last time and still looks to be on a decent mark. Light Weight won under Jamie Spencer at Newcastle and may be improving but Culdaff has been a little disappointing since winning at Haydock in July. Les Gar Gan looked ready for further over 6f at Doncaster last time and may be best of the rest.
