While Ahlawy comes out best at the weights its LANG SHINING who has least to prove in this company and he gets the vote. The horse has found his feet again under the care of Jamie Osborne and seems to enjoy the handling of Sophie Doyle, with the pair combining well throughout the season. He's a course-and-distance winner and is easily forgiven a below-par run in the Cesarewitch when last seen. Fujin Dancer arrives on the back of a game victory and continues to pay his way but he'd be much better off were this a handicap and Ahlawy is taken to fare better on his debut here. Frank Sheridan's charge is in rude health but he's done his winning at Wolverhampton and may be best left alone until returning there over the extended mile. Green Earth arrives in form and battled on well at Kempton while Robby Bobby is capable of winning this if at his best.
