Verdict

BLENHEIM BROOK is fancied to go one place better than when second at Hexham last time. Lucinda Russell's gelding was a soft ground point-to-point winner and he ran a great race when second to Monogram at Hexham; with this track to suit he should go close. Sunnyside has a 7lb penalty for his three mile win, whilst Noble Scholar was good enough to win a second bumper under a penalty and is respected on his hurdling bow. Rival D'Estruval should improve now tackling an obstacle, however a bigger danger might be Tiptoeaway was emphatic on his bumper debut at Hexham.
