A poor maiden where THEATRE STREET is the pick ahead of Alimarr and Theta Wave. The selection is no nailed-on certainty as he was expected to win last time, but did not look entirely straightforward when a beaten odds-on favourite here over course and distance. Even so, he clearly has some ability and the change of pilot to Neil Callan might just be the key to getting him home in front. Alimarr has put in some decent performances in context, but most of them have been over further and judged on last time's effort he has a bit to prove over this short. That leaves us with Theta Wave, who improved from first run to second for Jeremy Gask, though he is now dropped back to the minimum trip. He can show further improvement and he could emerge as the main danger to the selection. Under Review looks the pick of the Simon Callaghan pairing on jockey bookings, though his pedigree does not suggest that he will be a debut winner and with little else to enthuse about we'll take Theatre Street to score.
