Not a particularly warm maiden on paper and one where COMMANDINGPRESENCE is taken to get back to form and have the beating of Emirates World. Both of the leading players disappointed when last seen on the racecourse, with the selection, who had made a pleasing debut, flattering to deceive when tried here over a mile. The drop back in trip is probably a plus for now, and Brian Meehan's filly looks to have enough ability to make it third time lucky. Emirates World has left Godolphin's care and moved north to Mark Johnston since being thrashed in a Great Leighs maiden in November. This trip should suit, and the change of scenery will hopefully have helped, but until we have seen him produce more he looks best watched. Misyaar continues in maidens and she has not yet fully revealed her hand. She is dropped back in trip today and that may just suit for the short term. It's A Mans World was runner-up in a 6f seller here last time but you wouldn't dismiss his chances of taking home some more prize money, though Commandingpresence is the one for us.
