In depth

Verdict

Ramatni has shown gradual improvement with her racing and Mark Johnston's filly has to be respected following another decent effort when chasing home Merchant Navy at Pontefract earlier this month but Paco Boy created a favourable impression when successful at Newbury last time and is taken to follow up here, with Good Gorsoon rated the pick of the remainder. The selection had run promisingly on his Kempton debut before landing that Newbury contest and, with further improvement anticipated, he looks the one they all have to beat. Charles Cyzer's Flight Plan has not progressed as much as may have been anticipated and of more interest may be Jeremy Noseda's Messias da Silva who showed promise on Lingfield debut and does receive weight all round here. Good Gorsoon has shown a consistent level of form and should be thereabouts again but preference is for Paco Boy who looks to be going the right way.
