Spirit Of Coniston looked on the way back to his best last time and can land this modest handicap, Minnow and Damhsoir could be the main rivals. The Dandy Nicholl's trained four-year-old was apprentice ridden last time out and was just collared in the closing stages by Babyshambles. With Spencer on board this afternoon he can go one better. Minnow has similar claims having chased home Green Lagonda over course and distance last time out. That was also an improved effort and there could be more to come. Damhsoir won nicely at Wolverhampton last time out but is not sure to be suited by this drop back to five. The best of the rest could be Drumming Party but this will not take a great deal of winning and Spirit Of Coniston should be up to the task
