Ersaal has the best recent form on view, and gets the vote over Theatre Lady and Wilom in a very moderate contest. There are duck-eggs all over the place here and this is not a contest to dwell on for too long, but in nominating the likely winner we go for Ersaal whose third at Wolverhampton last time was his best effort yet. To put it in context though, it was a lowly class H contest at Wolverhampton, just as bad as this one in fact. However, he did make a bold bid to lead and make all, and it was only two furlongs out that he faded. The drop back in trip should be in his favour and similar tactics this time might pay off. Theatre Lady certainly attracts the right kind of men, having been partnered by Kieren Fallon on her last two starts, and she now has the assistance of Frankie Dettori. Her last victory came over the course and distance in February, since when she has gone up in the weights, enough to stop her from adding to her tally. She should be there or thereabouts though and can give the selection most to do. Wilom has a good draw but little else to recommend him and the rest are even more woeful, so only a very small wager on Ersaal is the suggestion.
