      Verdict

      ROYAL BIRTH was only headed close home in a Listed contest here last week, despite playing up in the stalls. Watchable was a fast-finishing third in that race having blown the start but Stuart Williams’ sprinter can come out on top again on identical terms and go one better today. Top Breeze was progressive on Turf last year but may just need this. Verne Castle, Thegreatestshowman and Alsvinder have all won around here in the past and are preferred in that order.
