    Verdict

    Three Castles finished third behind Beat Box at Newcastle and the latter is one of three penalised for winning. He’s preferred to Half Bolly, well beaten in Listed company last time having won at Market Rasen before that, but STRATAGEM gets another chance. Placed at Bangor when sent off favourite on his debut for Paul Nicholls’ yard, he made a winning start over hurdles in France last year and the fitting of a tongue-tie today could see him back to winning ways.
