RAPID CITY is preferred to Gizmondo and Resentful Angel amongst others. Alan McCabe's charge had gone sixteen runs without a win prior to his course and distance success in a claimer last month but that took his all-weather record to four wins in sixteen starts with three over this course and distance. He moves back into handicap company on a mark he's capable of winning from and has put together a run of form in the past. Strike Force has turned into a pretty consistent all-weather performer and could be in the mix again but he has yet to reproduce his best at this track which could open the way for handicap newcomer Resentful Angel to lay down a challenge as she was staying on strongly over seven last time and has shaped with definite promise. A market move for Gizmondo may persuade us to switch allegiance as his debut for the Moore yard was not without promise but in the absence of that, we'll be with Rapid City.
