HILLSIDE LAD, Green Onions and Fantasy Gladiator form the immediate short-list but the market may always reveal a little more. Hillside Lad showed promise at double figure prices on his first two starts before being sent off a 2-1 favourite over six furlongs here last time. He was denied by a head there but showed enough speed to think that he'll cope with this shorter trip and he has the form to go close. Green Onions is improving with experience but still has a little to learn about the game and may have to settle for a minor role again. Fantasy Gladiator was just behind Green Onions at Great Leighs last time when racing too keenly; he ran wide at the bend at this track on his penultimate start so does have a question or two to answer. The remainder should be monitored for support but we expect this to go the way of Hillside Lad.
