Verdict

The well-related King's Majesty is selected to round off the meeting with a winner, while Optimus and Vague Star are others that are worth noting in running for future reference. So too are newcomers Dubai Dreamer, who is bred to get a trip, and Don Pasquale, whose trainer has excelled with juveniles in the past. However, it is safe to assume that this January foal would have been seen in action before now if he has shown encouraging signs and he looks to be one for the future. So too does Croon, who sire's progeny have a modest strike-rate at two and he is best watched today. Vague Star at least has experience to draw from and is entitled to be thereabouts if he handles this first try at seven furlongs, while Optimus ran a good race here at the start of this month and Angel Rays (races earlier on the card) will give a good indication towards his chance this afternoon. Nevertheless, King's Majesty showed marked improvement here fifteen days ago and will be very hard to beat if he has learnt anything from that outing.
