Verdict
A competitive contest gets proceedings underway and but the principals look to be Old Marsh, Young Owen and James Victor and the vote goes to Old Marsh. The selection was a fair fifth behind Quazzar, this looks easier and under conditions that suit he will be hard to beat. James Victor won well last time out when defeating Code Sign and is unexposed and has plenty of scope for improvement so he is worth noting in the market. Young Owen is another that could go well he won well last time out when defeating Saby and that form has since been franked so he is another that will not be far away but his penalty may just find him out. Of the remainder Dun An Doras is better over a longer trip while Pardini failed to complete the course last time so he can not be put forward with any confidence and for the winner we return to Old Marsh.
